chronicles of the birthday card

Who doesn't love getting (not the virtual kind of) mail? The only kind of snail mail love I get these days are the kind that require follow up action, generally involving monetary outflow. Sad truth. 

So here was a card I sent to the US.

AND THIS IS HOW IT WAS RECEIVED.

Instant. Depression.

Oh well. Happy birthday anyway grace =) At least the necklace made it.

lace necklace

As easy as 

1 - cut lace 

2 - starch lace (it was a little flimsy and would flop when worn)

2.5 - add jump rings 

3 - add chain 

My jewelry tree is rapidly running out of spare branches =)

and if not? just take it apart and make something else.
