Pennant loving!

Now who doesn't love pennants, seriously. They're so ridiculously happy lookin'. And even ridiculously easy to make. Cut out triangles, sew along a piece of ribbon. That is all. Oh, and add letters if it's your favourite boy's 1st month party.

3D wall art

It was impromptu girlfriend craft day when inspiration for 3D-decor struck. What started out as a ceiling mobile though, ended up as framed wall art.

Loving the blades of grass.

All for this bundle of cuteness that recently popped into our lives, sending my girlfriends and I into a flurry of baby-obsession.

You gonna get lotsa loving babyboy!

first. quilt. ever.

{finished quilt}

It's done! Actually it was more or less finished at the last post, but i thought it looked dull so i decided on red binding. Since i didn't have red material, finishing it was put on hold till some was bought.
I'm happy about the red. Good choice, the red.

{front}

japanese cotton, ikea fabric, and cheap $3 ones on sale

{back}

I love this material with the sailboats. If you could feel it, you'd know why too.

{heart red stitching}

Tomorrow, it will belong to the cutest baby boy.
Mom says 'very nice, how about you make us one'. Like a full queen sized quilt? No thanks, I think I'll pass and save myself the aneurysm.
