Paper cutting
I find this quote hilarious.

An extremely sharp blade is important.
I found this tutorial very helpful with cutting the curves - how to cut great curves

Arm party
Cannot get enough of making bracelets.
Best (and most used) resource? honestlywtf.com.
If you haven't been to this bible of DIY, you've been living under a store-bought rock. Honestly. (see what i did there)

Spoils from Hong Kong
I love the smell of leather and the gleam of hardware.
Gearing up for some serious dates with my sewing machine.

Pennant loving!
Now who doesn't love pennants, seriously. They're so ridiculously happy lookin'. And even ridiculously easy to make. Cut out triangles, sew along a piece of ribbon. That is all. Oh, and add letters if it's your favourite boy's 1st month party.

3D wall art
It was impromptu girlfriend craft day when inspiration for 3D-decor struck. What started out as a ceiling mobile though, ended up as framed wall art.
Loving the blades of grass.
All for this bundle of cuteness that recently popped into our lives, sending my girlfriends and I into a flurry of baby-obsession.
You gonna get lotsa loving babyboy!

Pop-up birthday card
"When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." - C.S. Lewis
Relive your childhood (more than) once in a while.

Vehicles template from madebyjoel. He also has other very cool free printable toys - check it out.

ferris wheel embroidery - done!
I always thought embroidery was kinda kitschy but this pattern inspired me enough to get a hoop and stock up on thread. TRY IT! Get the pattern here. (it's free!)
Mmm. Now what should I do with it...

Leather handphone pouch version 1.2
The final version of the leather handphone pouch given to my aunt. Fits her iPhone and bluetooth, with magnetic closure and lined with jersey. The inside is so much neater than the one before. You know what they say about practice..
Didn't get the chance to take any photos before it was given so I sneaked in some iPhone ones today.
Much satisfaction. I foresee more leather offerings in the near future.

An experiment in leather
How do you keep the piece of leather from shedding?? I ended up with my floor covered in red bits before lining it with resignation. This took way more effort than I thought it would.

Ferris wheel embroidery
Forage into new territory, granny style.
And of course, what better way to start than to jump in the deep end with a cross-eyed worthy pattern. BRING IT.

Personalizing a Polaroid card
Adding some action to a lonely desert plain.
(spot the failed vulture)
Merry Christmas! Remember, cards are meant to be personal and meaningful, not cop-outs and insteadofapresent.

chronicles of the birthday card
Who doesn't love getting (not the virtual kind of) mail? The only kind of snail mail love I get these days are the kind that require follow up action, generally involving monetary outflow. Sad truth.
So here was a card I sent to the US.
AND THIS IS HOW IT WAS RECEIVED.
Instant. Depression.
-_________-
Damnyou postal service. All cards are going into ziplock from here on out.
Oh well. Happy birthday anyway grace =) At least the necklace made it.

How did it take this long to realise how incredible Sharpies are?! So wonderfully pigmented. Time to make up for all those lost opportunities.
